Find a caregiver for an elderly parent or a family member who is unwell.

A caregiver helps with daily life at home: bathing, meals, the toilet, moving from bed to wheelchair, and remembering when to take medicine. Describe the situation in the app, interview candidates over video call, then decide yourself.

What the caregiver does

Personal hygiene

Bathing, help with the toilet or changing adult diapers, and keeping clothes and bedding clean.

Meals and medicine times

Preparing food, helping them eat when needed, and reminding them to take medicine on the schedule the family gives.

Moving safely

Helping them move from bed to wheelchair, walking with them, and light exercise.

Company and watching out

Someone to talk to, going along to doctor check-ups, staying up at night if agreed, and telling the family when their condition seems to be getting worse.

For families caring for someone at home

The person who signs up is the closest family member: a child, spouse, grandchild or sibling. The person receiving care does not need an account. You fill in their age, mobility and condition in the request, and health details are stored only if you agree.

What the caregiver does not do

A caregiver helps with daily life, not medical procedures. These five stay with a health worker:

  • Injections
  • Wound care
  • Inserting or managing a catheter
  • Inserting or managing a feeding tube (NGT)
  • Giving medicine through an IV

This boundary is also written into the work agreement, so you and the caregiver follow the same rules.

MyHelper fee

Rp250.000

Paid once per request, covering interviews with up to 3 candidates.

  • One chat-unlock fee per request, paid once upfront to start interviewing.
  • Covers interviews with up to 3 candidates, and you can swap candidates at no extra cost.
  • No separate placement fee after the agreement.
  • The exact amount is shown clearly in the app before you pay; a valid promo code reduces it.

6-month guarantee: if no one fits, you can interview more candidates (up to 6 interviews on the same payment). Once your helper starts, you get one free replacement within the first 6 months.

A simple process

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

Create a request in the app: area, schedule, and the kind of help. Available, ID-verified candidates appear in the app, and browsing is free.

  2. 2

    Interview by video call

Pick up to 3 candidates, unlock chat with a single payment, then arrange a video or voice call interview. Swap candidates at no extra cost.

  3. 3

    Book & start

Agree on schedule, tasks, and salary with the candidate you choose, then the helper starts working.

Interview before starting. Ask about their experience with older people, how they help someone out of bed, and what they do if the condition gets worse. The app gives you the list of questions.

The fee is explained before you pay. The decision stays with you after the interview.

Common questions

Is a caregiver the same as a health worker?
No. A caregiver helps with daily life and keeps the person company. Injections, wound care, catheters, feeding tubes (NGT) and IV medicine stay with a health worker.
How much does it cost?
The same as for housekeepers and babysitters: one chat-unlock fee, paid before the interview. There is no other fee. Once the work agreement with a caregiver is final, the fee is not refunded. You agree the caregiver's salary directly with them.
What if the caregiver is not a good fit?
If nobody fits at the interview, you can interview other candidates, up to 6 interviews on one payment. Once the caregiver has started, you get one free replacement within the first 6 months.
What if the person receiving care goes into hospital?
You can pause the guarantee period in the app while they are in hospital, for up to 30 days in total. The caregiver's pay during that time follows what you and the caregiver agreed.
What if the person receiving care passes away?
We are sorry for your loss. You can end the work in the app, and the last day can be today. If the last day is less than a month away, you still pay the caregiver's wages for the 30-day notice period, unless you agree otherwise in writing. The rest of the guarantee can be used by another family member, and the MyHelper team sends you the code.
Who can see their health details?
The MyHelper team can see everything. Caregivers you invite to an interview see a summary: age group, mobility and the list of health conditions, without health notes or weight. The full details open to the caregiver you choose once the work agreement is final, while they work with you. If you cancel the request before the agreement is final, this data is deleted with it.
